These colourful baskets are hand woven in three different sizes by a small Kenyan weaving cooperative, and area great for storage and are available in three handy sizes. Use as flower pots and planters for indoor plants or for organising your dressing table or use to create a stylish desk tidy.
These baskets are made by small co-operative women’s weaving groups in Kenya and help women support their families since subsistence farming alone often fails to meet the families needs. All products are fair trade and when you buy one of these woven baskets you are actively supporting these weavers’ livelihoods, and supporting The Basket Room in their commitment to empowering women. Each woven basket is supplied with a thank you card from the weaving cooperative.
