Before picking any flower, the buttercup is closely inspected for genetic perfection before being used in Botanic Isles’ signature jewellery.
In Scotland, a common game to play is holding a buttercup under the chin to cast a yellow glow on the skin. If a yellow glow is indeed seen, it confirms that the person does indeed like butter and is a common game played by children and adults alike across the country for generations.
