Alison’s designs are inspired by living in Cornwall, walking along the coastline and the unique Cornish hedgerows, foraging for season treats, fishing and growing fruit and veg. In her old house she had a large Fennel bush in the garden, and sparrows used to perch on the frondy branches to pick off the insects attracted by the aniseed scented yellow flowers.
